Easily Distracted

Spring has come and gone. So too has Summer passed, and as the temperatures continue to fall Winter will be here once more. I do not know where the time has gone but it has passed. I have done few things creative this year and I do not know why. I wish to write more but my time management like my inspiration is poor. I will write more. I just do not know when.

I haven't been out for a while so no new photos, which also meant I was reluctant at posting if I didn't have a new image to play with for my little update posts. As we come closer to sprint I hope to be outside more often taking photographs and getting out of this wintertime funk. I guess only time will tell.  Here is to the joys of spring.

So it is very easy for me to fall out of the habit of making posts on this blog. It's sad that I did this again. I mean I started at least six different posts that were never published. I had different reasons for not posting but in the end it doesn't matter because the results were that this blog was left abandoned again. I have something to write about tonight. this is just a short complaint to myself.

The take over of high-value Twitter accounts on July 2020 worries me. sure it was a bitcoin scheme this time but what if the account was taken over as President Trump and the fake tweet was not about BitCoin but of a false message that he has assassinated protestors in Portland, Or or Seattle, Wa? Couple that account hijacking with a media outlet that says there is a developing story about martial law announcement in the coming hour. Sure the White House and the News Outlet will make a prompt correction but what happens when the immediate social media reaction spills over into the streets? How much social unrest could have happened by two simple tweets from a man (Trump) who is known to send half thought out statements based solely on emotion. To further this exercise what kind of public responses would happen that were legit? I guess you can say that I have missed the mark when it comes to making daily posts. But let me also say I do enjoy a good pun.  I have spent the last couple of days playing with the customization tools that Blogger has provided to make this site display my personality. Originally I did not intend to create top splash images in black and white. This happened completely by accident as the images I had taken from my collection all happened to be colorless. I guess this style choice is (for now) the style of my site as the dartboard image above was originally in color.  When I was working on the theme for this site I had assumed I would place the full-size splash images on the main page. But when I had seen the square images to the left show up instead I instantly took a liking to it and so that is how they will stay for now.  So what in the world am I going to post about going forward? At the moment I am not sure. I know the personal life posts are not interesting to other ...

Make Myself Read Again (MMRA) I enjoy using services like Audible.com but I need to stop Not because of the cost. As subscription services go there is value in the $15 a month is charged Not because there is the potential for an item in my library to go missing since I do not own these audiobooks. 

So after saying that I would post more I made a single post in October 2019. Not a great start for the site.

It is time to give blogging another try. to put pen to paper and organize my cluttered mind and try to focus my mind. It will not be easy and I have failed at regularly writing something many times before but I think this time will be different because I have a new shiny keyboard.
